    Hi,

I need to make an old post (several months old), but I don’t want to send out an email to my subscribers. Is it possible to turn off Subscriptions, publish my post, then turn on Subscriptions, and retain the subscribers?

I don’t want to delete the subscribers, I just need to post something and not send out an email.

    self-hosted, www.remarpro.com install, v 3.7.1

    thanks,

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Is it possible to turn off Subscriptions, publish my post, then turn on Subscriptions, and retain the subscribers?

Sure, you can follow the instructions here to learn how to deactivate the module:
    https://jetpack.me/support/activate-and-deactivate-modules/

You won’t lose your subscribers in the process: if you re-enable the module, your next post will be sent to your subscribers, as before.

Thanks. I ended up editing the post-status value in the table and setting it to publish. That worked and didn’t send the email.

I’ll try that method next time, I just didn’t want to lose my existing subscribers by deactivating it.
