turning off quick comparisons for WPC

Hi there, i am unable to turn off quick comparisons of the compare wordpress plugin for WPC, there was an enable section which allowed to turn on or off the quick comparison tab, but even after i turned that off the table stayed. i tried on both my local and online hosted domain servers, the results where the same, does anyone have anyway to solve this without taking to long? i is there way I can reset some cache or something, because i did refresh everything everywhere (best i know). but it still keeps on showing up. your intellect will be much appreciated here. thank you for reading this
