Turning off clickable image in Featured Post

    with the ‘Featured Posts’ on Home-Middle widget leads to a new post page, is it possible to turn off this functionality (ie. I don’t want the image to be clickable)? All I need is just the info displayed when a mouse hover on top of the image.

    I have tried using text widget and put images but as I require to have multiple images, it does not look right.

    Also, I would highly appreciate if someone can recommend a widget that does what is required to the above.
