Turning off all autoformat

I have seen at least five topics on this and it seems no-one really has the answer. Is there a way to just turn off autoformatting and autop entirely?

I write html all the time and it is much more natural for me to just markup my own text than have wp try to do it for me.

Can I write a plugin or something using remove_filter to do this?
