Turning lesson list into a post grid

Can anybody tell me how I can turn a lesson list into a post grid? It seems to be possible using the code here: https://wpcomplete.co/support_article/wordpress-query/ but the info there is limited. I want to pull completable posts into an elementor post grid rather than having them as a simple list. Thanks in advance.
