    Hi.
@iamazik responded to https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/18645 and recommended I submit this issue here for deep dive investigation. Hopefully you can help me.

Please give us a description of what happened.
If I set the Admin Bar menu option to off in Yoast SEO General > Features, the Yoast SEO bar is still present on all users (including Administrators). This continues even after logoff, close browser, reopen and log on.

Please describe what you expected to happen and why.
I expected it to hide the Yoast SEO tab from the Admin Bar for all Users (ideally except Administrators).

How can we reproduce this behaviour?
Set the Admin Bar menu option to off
Login in as user (I use subscriber).
    Select Edit profile
Yoast SEO Tab still shows and is functional.

    Hello Vidar,

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry it took a while to respond.

I tested this on different user roles, admin, subscriber, and editor; unfortunately, I could not replicate it. The moment I set the Admin Bar menu option to OFF, it no longer shows. Have you considered performing a conflict check? The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.
