“Turn on” show brand/category archive page banner and description.

    HI,

    Regards above issue, I’m guessing, something needs to be “turned on” or code amended.

    On the back end of each brands’ page – I can enter 2 descriptions ( long and short) and a banner image. When these are added – they are not currently showing on the front end. Again, guessing here with little knowledge – the archive page template will need amends?

    I’m hoping its a relatively simple fix – add or edit a piece of code? Which is why I’m asking here, the theme author doesn’t seem like they want to bother. Temperamental those folks at Thembay – eek face emoticon.

    Lol I just need those bits to show up on the front end!

    I notice the brand description and banner image only shows when “display after product grid/loop” – but I’d like to have it displayed above/before the product loop/grid. Thanks!

    I believe the product grid part of the page is managed by WooCommerce and not your theme. There is usually a way to alter WooCommerce components to your liking. I recommend asking through the dedicated support channels of WooCommerce for advice. For the free version, support is here. If you’ve purchased any theme or add-on from WooCommerce, you’ll likely get better support if you seek help through your account at woocommerce.com.
