    Hi,

is it possible to turn off the xml sitemap and robots.txt before activation. So that my existing ones are not overwritten?

    Best regards Carsten

    Hi @carstenwh,

Thank you for your additional feedback!

This is definitely a possibility and we will take it into the consideration while releasing next version of our plugin – v1.0.35, which we’re currently working on.

    Hello @carstenwh,

Release candidate of the latest version v1.0.35 of our plugin where the XML Sitemap and robots.txt generation is disabled by default, is ready for testing at:

    https://www.click5interactive.com/sitemap-by-click5-v1.0.35-RC1.zip

Just keep in mind that this applies only to new installations. If you are already using our plugin, you have the settings already stored in the database.

This update will affect only new installations.

    Hope it makes sense.

    Thanks,

    Good morning,

Unfortunately the plugin still gives a 5xx error. Even if I deselect products, posts, etc and only want to show the product categories.

    Best regards Carsten

    Hello @carstenwh

We would need more specific information to help troubleshoot the issue with your website. We have test website with over 10,000 posts and everything works fine.

Could you describe what steps have you taken while updating the plugin?

Did you deactivate the previous version of the plugin? Or, did you just delete it from the FTP?

On witch page are you getting the 500 error?

Sounds like it doesn’t happen right after you active the plugin, if you are able to change the settings.

    Thanks,

    Good Morning,

I uninstalled the plugin and then reinstalled it. It took a very long time to activate it. After the setting, the page then takes an extremely long time to load or usually crashes. Then the entire WordPress / Woocommerce installation is so slow that I have to deactivate the plugin. I hope the description helps.

    Best regards

Is it possible that the blacklist is causing the problem?

    Hi @carstenwh

    Thanks for your feedback!!

In order to fully troubleshoot the issue we will have to understand better where exactly you are experiencing the issue:

    1. Settings page in WP Dashboard > there may be a case where the Blacklist may be slowing down the Settings page for websites with over 10,000 posts. We are currently working on it.

    2. HTML Sitemap > the HTML Sitemap should work fine. We have a test website with over 16,000 posts and it works totally fine.

    3. XML Sitemaps > same as with HTML Sitemap…should work fine.

Could you clarify where exactly you are experiencing the issue?

    Thanks,
    click5 Team
