I’ve had trouble finding a thread that dealt with this and wasn’t sure where this actually fell as far as support forums. I use the iOS app and have Jetpack setup on a client website. He recently launched a WooCommerce store and now I’m constantly getting notifications about sales. I looked into my own profile and turned off all of the notifications for his site, but I’m still getting them. The thing I notice in the app is that there isn’t an actual a toggle to silence WooCommerce alerts in the app, so I’m wondering if that’s why I keep getting them. I know the simplest way would be to turn off notifications in iOS for the WordPress app, but I also don’t want to entirely neuter the functionality of app for this.

    Hey @modsuperstar

Thanks for posting to ask about this! The notification settings for the WordPress iOS app are controlled via the WordPress.com account which is connected to Jetpack. You can change the notification settings here for any Jetpack connected WooCommerce site!

Head over to this page: https://wordpress.com/me/notifications
Scroll to the site you want to turn off notifications
The right column will have your phone name at the top, uncheck that box
The left column with the bell is notifications which can be viewed via the Notifications Bell icon on any WordPress.com when you’re signed in.

I hope this helps, have a great day!

Perfect, thank you. That screen had everything unchecked as I had in the app, except for the 2 options at the bottom that weren’t in the app. Now is this something on the roadmap to be added into the app? It seems like an omission that should be there.

Do you mean added to the iOS app? I have opened an issue about this on the GitHub repository as I do feel this is a solid feature request. You can follow along here – https://github.com/wordpress-mobile/WordPress-iOS/issues/10506

As we’ve solved your initial query and have an open issue about the behavior, I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
