Turn off update email notifications

From where? What’s the source of your email notifications? From a plugin?

the email comes from [email protected]

Domain being that particular website.

The contents of the email are notifying me that there is an update to the core.

I’ve removed my email from the admin but still receive emails.

You may contact your host support about that since, before you install WordPress on your server you have the option disable or enable auto updates.

So you are saying that the email is generated from the hosting company and not WordPress?

I don’t think this has something to do with the host or cPanel — to my knowledge, it is a standard WordPress feature.

Not sure if/how to turn it off though.
