Nope, just the 100 or so words in section 6 I referred you to, plus some code to implement.

If you are asking whether there is a check box for this, then the answer is no ??

So it seems I am not receiving those emails.

The email that I receive is a notification that there is an update to WordPress’s core and that I should update.

is there not a toggle button hidden somewhere on the admin page?

my email is nowhere on the site anymore so I don’t understand why I would even receive an email in the first place.
