Is it possible to change the Admin menu bar settings so that alerts do not automatically drop down as they do now? Or to turn off the WPSSO Admin nenu bar icon compleletly? The new alerts cover up content and are disruptive to the workflow, especially when they are flagging items that I choose to ignore. At least the old alerts pushed content below the fold and I was able to scroll down to begin working. Thank you in advance.

Please note that there are no “normal” errors or warnings – any error or warning notice should be addressed. The notice drop-down should be clean – no notices.

I’ll have a look at another solution for the next version – perhaps just keeping the drop-down open for 1 second before it self-closes.

BTW, bringing the cursor onto, and then off of the drop-down notices menu, will close the drop-down menu. ??

    Hi, JS,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I have picky clients with Admin access (I know…) who will send whiny emails about the dropdowns if they block content or links, even with the cursor-on-then-off method. Having alerts go away on their own after a second or so is a good compromise.

I use Yoast SEO on several of my sites and there’s a reason why I have to use social media links in Yoast or something breaks (it escapes me at the moment what that is). Those are the alerts that I ignore.
