Turn off Main Slider Slick Dots on bottom

I’d like to turn off the slick dots at the bottom of the slider. It looks good as is, but it would look better on some websites without the slick-dots.

I’ve done a couple of things to hide them, but it leaves too much vertical space.

If it could be turnedd on and off within the theme settings, that would be great!
