Turn off DeBug?
-
I am helping a friend with her new WP.org blog using version 3.0.3 – https://www.raisingthebarrs.com/
The problem started with an automatic upgrade from the host going from version 3.0.1 to 3.0.2….
She is using very common plugins which I have on my blog also (ie LinkWithin, WP-Database-Backup) and they are all showing error messages on her dashboard. For example, LinkWithin, when activated says:
Notice: has_cap was called with an argument that is deprecated since version 2.0! Usage of user levels by plugins and themes is deprecated. Use roles and capabilities instead. in /home/anjanetteopal/raisingthebarrs.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3321
The plugin functions fine.
When I comment out that line, a new error message pops up about the same thing.
It does not seem to be theme related, because it happens with all the themes including TwentyTen.
I’m assuming that this is a debugging code that is activated on her WP install. (I use the same plugins and don’t have these error messages.) Is there a way to turn this off? It’s very annoying and distracting.
Thanks!
