Turn Off Comments?

    I can’t seem to turn off the comments on Pages or Posts. I’ve clicked off “Allow people to post comments on new articles” (under the Settings>Discussion area) and anything else that seems like it would turn them off and they are still there.
    Any ideas?

    For existing posts/pages, go to the QuickEdit for each one and uncheck “allow comments”.
