    Hello!

    I am using version 2.3.8.

My site’s default language is English, and we are translating over to Spanish. I am using a plugin for team cards (Unlimited Elements for Elementor).

For our team members who are titled “Director” in English, their title needs to be “Directora” in Spanish. Somehow it is changing every instance of “Director” across the site to “Directora”, even though some need to stay director.

I felt I had a handle on this by adding the html node title as an exclusion in the plugin settings, but this did not work, it is still translating across the site.

Is there a setting I am missing to turn this off? We need to be able to change this translation independently across the site.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

    Thank you for reaching us!

You are correct, if you did add the correct node then it should not be translatable by the API anymore but, if the content was translated before you added the node to the exclusion then, the content that was already translated still will be and new content from that point forward, will be excluded based on the node.

    Hope this makes sense!

    Cheers,

Thank you for your reply! Does this also apply to manual translation across the site? We did not use any automatic translation services.
