Debugging is on (I didn’t do this) and it’s generating huge files of error/warning statements that UpdraftPlus support was not very helpful with (misunderstood what I was describing and despite my asking many times over several emails, did not even try to suggest what the cause of these statements might be.

As an apparent result, UpdraftPlus is not able to back my WP site to Dropbox.

The problem is that WP_DEBUG is set to false in wp-config.

How else can I turn debugging off?

    Hi,

The UpdraftPlus debugging setting is in the ‘expert’ section at the bottom of the ‘Settings’ tab. It’s off by default.

However, turning debugging on or off only controls the logging of ‘debug’ level log notices. It won’t turn ‘warning’ or ‘error’ log messages off. If you tell me your UD order number or email address, I can look into your ticket in our help system.
