• Hello users,
I’ve been working with wordpress for a while, and i’m interested in creating a own wordpress theme for my wordpress page. I’ve been working in phoshop to do so, but i dont know really how to turn this into a theme, so if someone could do this for me for free i would really apreciate it. Its not a big deal, the page is very simple, with two colums.

    Thanks in advance

  • Last time I created a simple two-column theme from scratch, it ended up containing 200 lines of PHP code and 250 lines of CSS. Using the ages-old technique of estimating labor requirements by assuming that the average developer writes 100 lines of code a day, you are looking at 4.5 man-days (for a skilled developer, it will not take as long, but you are still looking at one or two full days). And that’s assuming someone else will cut the PSD into foreground and background images for you. So yes, it is kind of a big deal…

I can do it, i have that skill

    one or two full days

I think it depends on the person, some people are mor tallent than others.

I think, that maybe if you have already done a theme with two columns is more like coping some parts.. and adding other..

Well I dont know, maybe there is someone who can do it for me ?? … I’m more skilled in doing graphics, I’m still a student and i would like to have a place to post my stuff :). Maybe I can do some graphic staff for you.. so I compensate it.

Thanks in advance for your reply

Use the Sandbox theme and just create it using pure CSS instead. Much simpler.
