If you plan on sending 5000 messages at a time, you probably would want to send through A bulk email sender. Very few hosting providers will even allow sending that many messages at one time, and if they do they probably won’t send them very quickly.

The pro version will allow you to send through several different bulk email senders which should help with the volume, and should help a little bit with messages not getting marked as spam. I would also recommend that you take a look at our blog, https://sendpress.com/blog/273/use-spf-to-avoid-an-email-newsletter-spam-sunburn/

That article describes a good technique to improve your delivery rate to the inbox.

Don’t forget to start backing up your site ??

    Hey itdoug

I m back again. i take care of ur advices like backing up :), thank you very much ??

today i have a new problem. after i updated the plugin to new version.. i have problem like this.

i have list including 3 mails. while on sending page. i add two more mails to test it.. but when i push send emails now. a pop up screen appers saying sent emails 5 and aprox 8 seconds per emails.

But its stops sending i think. sendpress just send to the first email on the listing.. after waiting about 3 min.. i click “close” then i see that all list stay still just the firts mail goes. and others are still.

than i again shoot the send mails.. with this every i click send mails just 1 mail sends. this is like sending mails manually.. ??

    HI Kolmz,

Are you just sending via your website? it sounds like it may be a javascript error on the sending screen. What browser are you using when you hit the send button?

Could you confirm that it is chrome for Windows and which version? Chrome 27 has been causing some issues around the Internet. Also, could you try a different browser just to see if there is a workaround for you at the moment?

    Hi Kolmz,

I wil run some test and see if i can recreate the problem. Would you be able to try a different sending method like Gmail to see if the error still happens?

    Thanks,
    Josh

    hey josh.
today i had a fresh install on a subdomain.

firstly it was working with gmail. after 15 mails, gmail blocked my app on sending. so changed the sending method and boOom, here again we have the some problem.

if gmail is working and hosting side is not. i thougt the problem would be hosting sidey. i opened a ticket for this and waiting them what will be provided for this issue.

and so what should do to beware of spam. josh ?

    thx..

Sounds a lot like your hosting provider is your issue. You could try a different hosting provider that’s more understanding. Or you could use the SendGrid API sending in the Pro version. Your host should not be able to detect or block since it goes over standard web port (80). You would need a sendgrid subscription as well. Depends on your volume I suppose. Moving hosts could be the cheapest option. Who is your host?

    HI Kolmz,

Could you take a screenshot of what is in your queue and send it to [email protected]. Sounds like maybe their is a connection error some place. If you try and send a test email from the send account page does it send?

    Thanks,
    Josh

    Hi Doug,
I want to change something in the Dutch translation.
In the downloaded files there is only the sendpress-nl_NL.mo available. Please where can i find the corresponding sendpress-nlNL.po file?
