I deactivated and then removed the widget and the icon over the text input area on the page still shows up. When I click the icon I still get the iframe opening that asks me to selected a widget.

The only thing removed is that the turbo widget plugin doesn’t show up under the plugins anymore.

The plug in was only partially removed (can’t see it in the plugins area of the admin)
    and still functions.

Please outline the steps to completely remove the plugin (including any database entries it would have made)

@kayakbabe, thanks for reporting this, it’s certainly not the desired behaviour.

I shall log a bug and let you know the findings.

To any one who reads this… I have to completely apologize to the plug in author.
I reported under the wrong widget plugin. I totally am using this one in my wordpress blog. This one really works and I figured out how to customize a lot more than is documented. It is super flexible.

I hope he accepts my apologies!

Ha ha, no worries at all.
Of course if you like the plugin, a nice 5* review would be ace ??

I’d also be keen to hear how you’ve used the plugin, if you wouldn’t mind sharing? It could be a great resource for others, perhaps.

I will repost my review here in case someone finds this support topic and reads it.

I used this to insert a menu. This way I had a “secondary” horizontal menu under the primary top menu for certain categories in my site. I also created several pages with widgets embedded in the middle of the text inside divs that were floated left and right.

I also used this to insert my own custom widget too.

It worked really well for me!

It was way easier than trying to code up a custom page template. And super fast to do it with this widget.
