Tumblr Publicize bugs

  • I have Publicize set to post to Tumblr and it’s been working well so far, but there are a couple things weird about it. First, for tags with apostrophes in them, during the conversion it’s changing the apostrophe to &039; (example).

    And second, when it takes the “excerpt” from my site, it’s running together italicized words with those following them (example). Any ideas on how to remedy these problems?

    Also, is there any chance of lengthening the amount of text it pulls for the excerpt? Right now it’s too short to be much of a teaser.

    I’m afraid you cannot control this at the moment, but I took note of your suggestion and we will consider adding more options to Publicize in the future.

    Just wanted to add that in addition to italicized words, it also seems to run together links with the word following (example). Also, some posts don’t go to Tumblr at all for some reason.
