Trying to troubleshoot a Theme panel but not allowed to access page

    Hi, first of all Thanks a lot for this plugin, it’s realy helpful

    My problem is that I need to troubleshoot a set of ajax tabs from my theme’s panel. So I enter troubleshooting mode and activated my theme so I can see the link to my theme’s panel, but when I click on it in order to enter and check the tabs I get “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

    I know it’s usualy related to admin credentials but anyway I reactivated basic theme’s plugins but still can’t access Theme’s Panel.

    What can I do to troubleshoot that page? Is there some setting in the plug already that I misslook or maybe a workaround?

    Any help will be great

    Hiya,

    The theme panel you speak of, is it a them options page implemented by the theme it self? If so, what theme are you using, and did it come bundled with any plugins (did it request you to install any plugins when the theme was activated)?

    Hi Marius,

    The Theme is Tag Div’s Newspaper 8.8.2 and it comes bundled with WPBakery Page Builder, that’s the only bundled plugin I install. The Theme Panel I speak of its implemented by the Theme itself, it contains all Theme options (header contents and display, footer, posts, fonts etc…)

    This is the one requested and I activated the plugin before troubeleshooting because otherwise I get a white page error (it happens always whatever I do WPBakery must be activated before the theme or it goes to white page)

    Ahh, a premium theme, got’cha.

    Would you be able to provide the output from the Health Check’s Debug Information tab, as I’m wondering if there’s something special going on with some settings that may be the root cause here?
