Trying to send a form to a different mail depending drop-down selection

I’m trying to create a form where the user selects an option on a drop-down (events, contact) and that the form is then sent to a different email (events@example.com, contact@example.com) depending on that selection.

I’ve been looking around for a while, tried using Conditional plugin but unless I’m using it wrong it doesn’t seem to be able to help with this.

I’m not familiar with wordpress nor CF7, just here trying to help a friend with some stuff, so its easy for me to have missed something basic; feel free to explain to me as if I was dumb if needed.
