trying to self host but still stuck on wordpress.COM

hi,

I am trying to switch my site from wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com
I have followed the instructions provided and installed the [latest] software but none of the features [plugins, themes etc] associated with www.remarpro.com are showing up in the admin control panel which leads me to believe that the site is still stuck on wordpress.com

any thoughts on what has gone wrong? do I have to delete the “blog” in the admin dashboard thus canceling the account with wordpress.com?

any help would be much appreciated!
