For all of my products that are “variable products” when I go to the product page and click on the variation to select one, the page reloads and says “This webpage reloaded because a problem occurred.” This is happening on Safari on my Mac. When I go to the page on my iPhone, the variations work like normal and I can click them and a select options from the dropdown no problem.

    What’s going on.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Usually, issues like this are caused by a site’s theme or plugins conflicting with WooCommerce. Here’s how to test for conflicts:
First, you’ll want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then test. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you. If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one to see where the issue is coming from. If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.

Thank you for the response, and instruction. I have narrowed it down to a theme issue, and browser incompatibility issue. It could be more extensive but that’s what I’m using and experiencing the issue with.

Clicking on any dropdown box, for example the product sorting option, as well as any product variation drop down box selector will cause the page to crash and reload.

Theme: Astra Pro 1.8.8, Starter Sites: 1.3.17
    Browser: Safari 12.1.2

    Hi again,

Glad to hear you found the issue!

I’m going to mark this as resolved, but feel free to open another thread if any other issues arise.

I’m having the exact same issue, even with the default WP theme 2019 enabled. Will raise a new support ticket.

@cwsteini did you find a fix for this??
I’m having the same issue as you and seemingly we’re using the same plugins/themes.
    Astra
    Elementor
    WooCommerce

Short answer, no. This has not been fixed. It’s a theme issue., I’m working with Brainstorm Force (the guys who put out Astra Pro) and so far they’ve discovered it’s

“The issue here is very weird. We drilled down until the issue to be related to google fonts URL causing this. I added this snippet to your site to disable the google fonts – https://cl.ly/81be09b25559

When this snippet is active the page loads correctly but that is not a solution as disabling google fonts changes the styling.

I am debugging this further to find why this is happening.

That was on the 15th, August 2019. They have since downloaded my site to explore the issue further.. just waiting now.

You should contact them as well, so they know I’m not alone.

@cwsteini I was just able to troubleshoot this issue on my site and it came down to an Elementor Pro glitch with the Add to Cart widget which had all the typography styled (Google Fonts etc).

I had added a fresh new Add to Cart widget and didn’t style all the typography attributes- its now working. Sounds like your issue is Astra related, however I’d recommend testing the issue with a default theme installed as you might find its a plugin issue and not a theme one.

    Good luck!

@cwsteini I am experiencing the same exact problem. Has Astra resolved this yet? I just contacted their support team about 15 minutes ago.

I did not add a “Add to Cart” widget like @laurensophie so I don’t believe this is the problem.

@superogx no they haven’t. It’s very frustrating. I haven’t had any updates in a while.

Please let me know what you discover.

That seems unacceptable. This is a huge problem! When is the last time you contacted them?

    (@cwsteini)

    I agree. Today 9/10/19

It’s strange because on some Safari browsers the problem does not occur.

    (@cwsteini)

@superogx So the issue has been fixed on my site.

Heres the response from Nikhil from Brainstorm:

    Hello,

Apologies for the delay here, This is a pretty weird error that we are trying to fix.

I was able to narrow it down and fix this on your site, As seen in the video here it is working correctly – https://cl.ly/b56bbe9e9f59

The problem right now seems to be happening when multiple variants are selected for font Quicksand, In your site, I am only using font-weight 400 only and the error is fixed.

We have used this font in one of the starter sites which has caused a few users using this same font combination and facing this error.

Right now we are debugging this error further to find why this is breaking when this font and multiple weights are selected, but until then using a different font in the time being does fix the error.

    Best Regards,

I hope that helps you fix your issue as well.

@cwsteini Thank you! I will try this.
