    Hello,

I wanted to replace completely the background picture with my own. I wanted to replace fonts on the home page as well. I was hoping that this would be pretty easy but I must admit it is likely more human error since this is my first site. Maybe it is better if I had a totally blank canvas to start rather than a theme.

    Thanks

  • Hi

Thanks for posting. You can change the theme’s fonts from Customizer > Theme Settings > Fonts. That setting is sitewide. Changing fonts on a page or element level would depend on what you’re using to build the page with.

A background image can be set from Customize > Background Image.

You would need a theme of some sort in WordPress but there are plainer ones out there than North.

Thanks for your quick response. I am following the path and I change the image but the home page image doesn’t move while the image is added in the next place below as I scroll down continuously. First, I thought it was an issue with my own image added but then I used some other images that I did not upload, the same thing happens. The original image is of a male at his desk using his computer.

In fact, replacement picture flashes and then original picture remains.

Unfortunately, it’s very challenging to assist further without inspecting the page in question. You can try going to Pages and editing the page you’re working on to see if the content is being added there.

Thanks. I will tell you if that helps later.
