Trying to remove feature image appearing in CPT

    Hi,

    I’ve created custom pages for an employer review site. I’m trying to find a way to have them not show a featured image. At the moment, the star rating I’m using (via YASR plugin) is automatically displaying as a featured image (see like to example page). I didn’t set that as the featured image. I don’t want to disable all thumbnails on the website as I have a blog section with featured images.

    I suspect this is going to be a theme change needed rather than anything regarding settings for the post type. Possibly the permalink is using a template file that is meant to show featured images in that area, but in this case it’s not needed and a more specific template file without image display is needed.
