Trying to move WP files to new host

Hi all, so i’m trying to figure out what I’m missing:
i changed website hosts from bluehost to luxsci [hoping someone is familiar with those]
I downloaded all my files from wordpress, and uploaded all files to the www folder in luxsci. their IT said that was the correct folder and everything looked good on their end. my domain is ‘working’ in that i was able to download wordpress itself [did 3.5.2 for compatibility] and now have a published blank site template [ats-sales.com]

why are my custom files and plug-ins not importing? I think i’m forgetting to do something within wordpress
