I have a lot of galleries with a lot of photos in them. I am building a sister site to my main site and I was hoping to just add a link from the new site to my gallery in my other site that hold all the galleries .
    What I did —
I use justified gallery and clicked on the first image to open the image in its lightbox (not a foo one) its lighbox with photoswipe. I then copied that URL displayed in my browser and pasted it as a link in my other website. I tested with a computer and it works fine but on a tablet and phone the image does not display correctly – its cropped and way down off the screen.
Is there a way I can achieve this. I tried installing the same lightbox and foo gallery on the site that I want to put the link into but it made no difference.
    Any help please.

    Hi @generalnumpty

Could you kindly share a URL link to your other site that holds all the galleries created using FooGallery so that we can test this from our end? Thanks in advance.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

Great thanks here is the URL generated on the website that holds the galleries when I click the first thumbnail
    ———————————
My site is the first part of the URL to .co.uk
Clicking the above link works fine on a conputer but on a tablet or phone the image is not displaying correctly, it seems enlarged and cropped to the screen and appears at the bottom of the screen.
When clicked the sites page holding the gallery briefly opens first and then the gallery opens.

    Hi @generalnumpty

Thanks for sharing the URL Link with us.

I’ve had a look at this issue and noticed what you described on my end too. It is not being caused by the FooGallery gallery you created and added the image in but by the Photoswipe lightbox that you are currently using.

Kindly try and contact the lightbox’s developers to have a look at the issue since they do understand their plugin better and may know why it’s behaving this way.

Alternatively, you can simply install our own lightbox plugin, FooBox Lightbox, which does not have this issue if you were to use it.

    Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis

Thank you so much for looking into this for me. I will contact the lightbox developer.

Just had a play and installed your lightbox but now when I click the first thumbnail and it opens in the foobox lightbox there is no change to the URL from the main page URL that the gallery is in, So I still cannot make a link in another site direct to an opened image in your light box so its ready to view the rest.
Hope you know what I mean.
There is no unique URL that I can copy and paste and use on another iste when I open an image in foobox, its just the same page URL.
