    Hi,
I have wordpress installed and works perfectly for one website.
I want to create another website, so I have created a subdomain within my host. I uploaded a new download of wordpress to the directory that this subdomain reads from (have also redirected that sub-domain to a new domain name).

I also created another database in my sql,for it and entered this in the appropriate part of the DB name part of the wp_config file. I filled in all other details the same as the previous installation as I dont see where they can differ ( do I have to specify the alternate domain name?).

It says something in wp_config about adding a table prefix for multiple installations. dont get that? just left it.

when I open the install.php in my browser i just get ERROR
    ERROR: %s’), $error); ?>
    WORDPRESS ALREADY INSTALLED.
    ?????
any ideas would be much appreciated?

I have also notice that no files have appeared in the database in my sql account i created and specified in the wp-config?

    solved it!!!

How did you solve it? I’m not getting the same result, but I am having problems doing the same thing. WordPress works, but the images don’t load in visual editor (the formatting buttons), not do the themes.
