Trying to install MU on my host

you got wordpress installed in a folder off the main domain. If you try an map domains to it, the folder name would remain.

Sorry I’m bit clueness right now been along day, so can u explain a bit more, when u say If you try an map domains to it, the folder name would remain.

and how would i do that and do I have to move more files and add code

You’ve installed WordPress in the /news/ folder. If you want to use this to map domain, you have to have it instaled right at https://mortgagesforukexpats.info

would i be able to map from

https://www.test.com/example
to

https://www.example.com

If you have WordPress installed in test.com/example – then no.

You would be able to do what you’ve described if you had WordPress in test.com/

… and one of the sub-blogs was /test/ That you can map.
