I am trying to install my wordfence license but am getting the error

    Hi @thatjordan,

Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link on the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then select “Send Report by Email.”

Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you’ve sent it.

    Thanks,
    Tiffany

Unfortunately when I try to get to that panel there is a popover that says “You must install a license to continue using Wordfence” with a Resume Installation button.

Is there another way to get the information that you need?

@wftiffany Is there another way we can figure out what is happening?

Are you able to load the Wordfence > Tools page without the installation overlay?

If you can, please select the Import/Export Options tab and select the Export Wordfence Options button. This will display a token that we can use to read your diagnostics. You can send that to the wftest @ wordfence . com address. (Make sure to include your forum username in the email and reply here after sending it).

@wftiffany Update, I was able to get to the diagnostics tab but the “Send report by email” and even the “export” button do nothing when clicked. The import/export options tab is giving me the overlay.

I deactivated the plugin, deleted and reinstalled fresh.

When I try to install a key manually, once I click the install license button it redirects to a blank page at …/wp-admin/admin.php?

But if I go back and use the “Install My license Automatically” button from the license email I’m brought to the correct page with an error that says “The link you used to access this page has expired, has already been used, or is otherwise invalid.”

On the new installation I was able to get to the diagnostics tab but the “Send report by email” and even the “export” button do nothing when clicked. The import/export options tab is giving me the overlay. Just as before.

Thanks for the update. There may be a plugin conflict, or possibly some files are failing to load.

Can you try loading a page (either the installation page or the Tools page) while keeping a browser console open? If you detect any JavaScript errors, files that fail to load, or other errors, please take a screenshot.
