“Trying to get property of non-object” debug warning

I’m doing some troubleshooting on my site and turned on WP_DEBUG and there are a series of errors related to Amazon Product in a Post plugin, specific to the /inc/amazon-product-in-a-post-functions.php.

Lines 15-31 of that particular file show the “Trying to get property of non-object” warning, specifically the “function aws_prodinpost_filter_content_test”.

Any insights on this?
