Trying to get feed into my HTML

I am trying to get my WP feeds to go into my html page instead of using a WP template. I read in some threads that I should use CARP to do this, but I can’t seem to get that to work right either. I did change my page to .php from .htm but I don’t know how much that helps. I have Yahoo hosting and just started using WP today. I guess I am asking for step by step instructions on how to do this, or if someone could point me to a thread I missed that explained it, that would be cool. Thanks in advance.
