Trying to Exclude from Cache

  • Hello, I’m trying to get the plugin to not cache my other plugin Shortcode for Current Date.
    Using Oxygen Builder, I’ve put the two lines below in the “Prevent the following URIs to be cached” with no luck. Can you help? Thanks!

    /oxygen/*
    /shortcode-for-current-date/*

    When I visited https://crownhillcemetery.org/shortcode-for-current-date/ or https://crownhillcemetery.org/oxygen/ it gave me 404 not found error. So, if the page does not exists then what you are trying to bypass?

    If you are trying to bypass a part of the page like a widget or something, that is not possible. Page caching doesn’t work that way. You either cache the whole page or do not cache the page.

    So, if you got a page with some dynamic widget in it, you need to bypass cache for that entire page as you cannot bypass cache for just a part of the page.

    Thanks I will delete the plugin because it doesn’t work. Autoptimize does.
