• Hey everyone!

    Newbie here again!

Was wondering if someone can help me; I’m trying to setup my website/blog (breadfromyourbed.com) with on the homepage the blog posts being ‘abbreviated’ or perhaps a blurb of sorts that will enable the readers to see the first few lines or maybe just the headline and then they click to read the entire article as opposed to the whole article, every article, being on the main page.

I truly do appreciate any and all help! Thanks in advance!

  • Hi,

This is related to your theme, check if there is some option to show just excerpt instead of whole post. If not you have to find custom code for your theme for this.

    Hey!

Thanks for responding first of all.

Now, where would I go to even try to do that? I went to customize and tried to find that and couldn’t. I’m not sure where I would go to try and edit that. I’m running the Radiate theme if that helps.

Thanks again for any and all help!

    Hi,

I am not familiar with your theme, so I have no idea what options are available there. The best if you will ask in theme’s support forum (maybe somebody already asked about that) or ask developer of your theme for this.

    Hey!

Okay thanks, I’ll try the themes support forum/developers forum for that.

One last question; where would I go in the newest edition of WordPress if I wanted to add a small disclaimer at the very bottom of my page, right by where it says “Proudly powered by WordPress | Theme: Radiate by ThemeGrill”?

Thank you in advance for any help!

    Hi,

This holds your theme too. If there is no option for that, you have to check files in theme like footer or credit
