• I’m trying to help a friend. He had someone who was going to do a full site for him, but then fell off the face of the earth. The site is basically done, but needs a ton of work, and is currently hanging off a random domain.

So my job is to figure out how to duplicate it. I know it is a wordpress site (says so at the bottom), and because of that I have the theme. But the options are not there to do what he did from an overall look/feel of the site, particularly the header. He has a banner up there, but that isn’t an option, and it’s not truly a banner because the logo is not within the banner.

Here is the site I’m trying to mimick:
    https://whatyouname.com/sports/

and here is what I have so far:
    https://ckstrengthacademy.com/

I’ve looked all over the internet with no luck. Obviously I can scrap it and completely redesign, but my friend really likes the design so I’d like to stick with it if I can.

    Any help is appreciated!

  • Right click on the original page and select view source. You will be able to see what plugins he has installed on the site.
    From what I see:

    1. events-manager
    2. youtube-feeder
    3. media-element-html5-video-and-audio-player
    4. vslider

For the stylesheet you can find the original here.
I would first make a backup of yours then copy paste the original over the top of yours and see where you stand.
As for the content, your on your own. LOL

    Thanks for the help.

Still no go. the style is already there as it is the same. It’s that banner at the top that has the C&K logo and “where hard work and science collide” line. I just can’t get that to work on the hardwood floor. I can basically do it on white…any additional thoughts?
