    Hi @callcreative,

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

The 405 Not Allowed error gets displayed when the method used not allowed on resource.

Smush.it can process JPG, GIF, and PNG images.

Are you using any other type of images?

Please enable WP Smush.it debug processing from the following path and let me know the detailed error message that you are getting when smushing images if any so that i can troubleshoot it.

Admin Area -> Settings -> Media -> WP Smush.it -> Enable debug processing

    Kind Regards,
    WPMU DEV

    Hi @fzishk,
Similar problem is being faced by some other users too, but we are not able to replicate the issue on Hostgator.

To debug the issue, we might need access to your site.

If you are comfortable providing it, you can follow the below steps to send over the required details.

    You can go to
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/
On the contact form, select “I have a different question

    Can you please send in:
    – In the subject field add “Attn: Umesh Kumar”
    – Link back to this thread
    – Include admin/network access
    – Include FTP
    – Include any relevant URLS for your site

this ensures it comes through and gets assigned to me.

Once I’ve the details, I can check the issue and find a solution for you.

    Thanks

    Hi there @innate24,

Thanks for having sent through login details. We’ve been testing and couldn’t seem to see any 405 errors. There are many smushed images now though perhaps the error you saw was due to the filesize being too large?

Yahoo’s service allows a maximum of 1MB, did you maybe see an error on large images?

    Cheers,
    David
