Trying to add Featured Content support to this theme

    I have jetpack installed and this theme. Using this instructions from the Jetpack link above, I am trying to add this support to this theme. Has this already been done by someone else? The code changes make sure, but where each code snippet should go, isn’t working for me. So I have something wrong. I end up with no posts shown at this point.
