Trying to access array offset on value of type null

  • PHP 8.0.28
    Version 1.9.4 (WP Super Cache)
    WordPress 6.2
    WooCommerce 7.7.0

    I have started seeing this error in the debug.log:

    PHP Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type null in /var/www/vhosts/****.com/****.****.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase2.php on line 2909

  • Is it still happening? Did you install any other plugins recently? That code hasn’t been changed in years and has to do with clearing the cache when comments are approved.

    Do any of your other plugins use the “get_comment” filter? Maybe they have a bug in them that’s breaking that filter.

    Sorry totally missed this, yes this is still an issue and we do use:

    I haven’t used that plugin, but if you disable the plugin temporarily and attempt to replicate the warning then it is a problem with that plugin, and hopefully they can fix it.
