Try to figure out why "This theme is broken. Template is missing."

  • Trying to figure out why my site has the internal message “This theme is
    broken. Template is missing.” Site is located at:

    DiveSummit
    I have restored the parent style sheet, style.css to the child theme and that
    did not fix the problem. I am also noticing issues with all my widgets not
    loading correctly either on that page and also the search function magnifier
    icon image not working/loading properly either, wonder if its all connected?

    the site seems fine when I just clicked there, is it still unhappy?
    if there is a problem with it?

    when you say you’ve restored the parent style sheet, do you mean you’ve simply added one with only those required comments and the @import ~~ /parent/style.css – because that’s all that’s needed to get the child up and running. assuming you haven’t changed the parent, you should be able to at least get the parent working, then add through new child features (i suggest one chunk at a time, keeping an eye on it’s ok’ness)
