Truncating Author Bios

  • the_author_meta('description');

    I’ve got a few author bios that span a few paragraphs. I’d like to truncate the bios to use at the bottom of individual posts… How do I do this?

  • codeline, did you figure this out? i could use the solution if you care to share. has anyone else figured out how to truncate/shorten the author bio?
