  • Lots of themes don’t look anything like the demos until you’ve set up theme options and added content. Unfortunately, these forums don’t provide support for commercial products – partly because they are not freely available for testing or use.

If you have more general questions about how WP works, we can probably answer those.

My apologies, thank you for pointing out the policy!

My question then would be how do I edit the HTML / CSS (I’m not sure which) to acquire a large featured post area like the one shown on the link with the demo of this theme? I have seen www.remarpro.com themes with similar setups, so I am assuming that there must be some code that would allow me to acquire this feature for my website.

I really have no idea since I’m not familiar with that theme, but I looked here:

Looks like you can set up Featured posts under Theme Options > Posts.

I’m guessing that you first need to create some posts with featured images – and then select those under the theme options.

Thanks for the help, but despite enabling the “Featured Posts” feature in the theme options, my website still only shows “Latest Posts.” I noticed that regardless of your theme, WordPress lets you choose between “Latest Posts” and “Static Page” in the Reading Sections. Would fooling around with this help at all?

Possibly, but some themes set up home pages in a different way, so hard to say without knowing anything about the theme.

Is there any support channel for the developers? It’s really their responsibility to support paid customers.

For the sake of posterity, I did figure out how to set up “TrueNews” by Theme Junkie. All of the information is available here:
