• I needed to stop the “Mixed Content” browser warning messages that were being displayed to my visitors because of primarily images failing to resolve to the secure https:// format now (practically) required by Google.

With a site the size of mine that represented a very large expenditure of time in having to manually track down each URL, then inspect and correct it if needed.

Of course I tried other plugins that promised to “force” https:// but they failed and ultimately were a complete waste of time.

In fact, it took this plugin about 1/100th of the time to find and replace all instances of “http:/” (125 database tables consisting of over 11,000 files!) and convert them to the secure https:// format than I wasted fooling with the other plugins.

This tool is in my arsenal yesterday!
