"/true" added to the end of permalinks

    What are your permalink settings at Settings -> Permalinks in your blog’s Dashboard?

    Custom: /%postname%/

    Just to give you a number, I am seeing at least 500 such 404s every day.

    Oomph, that’s no good, and it sounds like WordPress itself is set correctly, so I’d assume it’s something third-party causing the problem.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue.
