• When I activate Health Check then attempt to activate Troubleshooting Mode, I get a confirmation “troubleshooting mode has been activated” message, but it hasn’t; all of my plugins are still active.

    Same thing when I try to “Troubleshoot” on individual plugins; the page refreshes but nothing happens.

    I’ve tried this on Incognito Mode as well, with no luck. It seems other users are also having issues with this.

    Hiya,

    There’s two situations where this may happen (that I’m aware of), either something is blocking the use of MU-plugins on your site, or the copying of files into the MU-plugins directory (you can check if this is the case by looking in the plugins list if it has a Must Use category, and if the Troubleshooting Mode plugin is listed there).

    The other is caching enabled for logged in and/or admin pages, if this is the case, you should really be reaching out to your hosting provider, as admin pages should never be cached, but I would check the first step about the MU plugins first, as it’s the more likely of the two.

    That’s the one (sorry about the slow followup, busy days), so troubleshooting mode does exist and should be triggering…

    Are you familiar with how to check the cookies you have set on a site? If you are, I would check if the cookie wp-health-check-disable-plugins is set (it should have a random string value, don’t share that anywhere, just confirm if it’s there or not).
