Troubleshooting error messages in upgrading from 1.5 to 1.5.1.3

You are posting the location of the errors, not the error messages – and it’s those we need to see.

Guessing time:
– delete the files mentioned and upload new
– what did you transfer the files with ?

Sorry Podz this is the error message I am getting, I posted the location because I thought that might have something to do with it.

Ok I went through all the files that it gave the error locations for and I did what the FAQ said, I waited for the 15 seconds and still I’m getting the same errors?

I am editing the files through my cPanel, would this pose a problem? And how will I know when all of the spaces are cleaned up or deleted??

Sorry I’m a total novice at upgrading ??

I wouldn’t edit anything through cpanel – download the file and edit using Notepad.

Do you have an ftp program ?

Ok I ‘ll download, edit via Notepad. Yes I do have an FTP program ??

Does it matter if I use Wordpad OR Notepad….I had used Wordpad before?

You should use Notepad.
