Troubles with Safari loading

Hope someone is able to help. My head is now official hurting.

We’re having some issues with our site loading on Safari, both on mobile and desktop.

Firefox and Chrome are both lightening quick but Safari just seems to hang half way through loading. When it does load (sometimes it just says it can’t reach the site), moving between pages is actually very quick.

Unless you’re clicking on a Tag link or Category link. A direct link to an article from the front page or from the “recent posts” widget is quick. Tags and Categories are slow.

On other browsers these are very quick.

I’ve tried taking out plugins and third party ads – and it does get quicker – but then I have a site that has no way of making ￡￡￡s or useful tools.

I’ve also optimised and repaired tables.

So… I’m wondering what is up. Anyone else having issues with Safari in this way?

We’re hosted on a VPS with 8 gigs of ram.

Any advice is appreciated.
