• Hi, im having troubles setting the default page of my site.
I set the default page to “USERS” (So the users registrate auto enter in your profile, and new users go redirect to login page), but this doesnt work.
When a non registerd user enters in the site (should be redirected to login page), the site go into a redirect loop.

I tryed setting other pages as default, like “Members”, “Account” and “Login”, and they work as I expect. BUt when I set my default homepage to “USERS”… not.
I want than my already registered users enter in your profile, (Not in the edit mode) and not registerd users go to login page.
I reinstalled my WP and start zero, but same results.
I only have WP installed an ultimate member plugins.

PD: my site is in a server that use gnix
Hope that someone can help me, thanks in advance.

    Hi @mauroleon,

Have you set the Action to be taken after registration in Ultimate Member > User Roles > Edit a User Role > Registration Options?

    https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/103-user-roles-settings

    Thanks.

Yes. All roles are set to: “Redirect to perfil” after login.
I keep trying things until today without success.
If I set “Users” as my default page, nothing seems to work.

If I set “User” as default page in wordpress, I’m unable to enter in my site.
Even turning down the custom access configuration of that page, and makin it accesible to all users… same result.

Also tryed to paste the index form from page “USER” in a new page, and set that new page as default in wordpres… Same result.

Mauro, your problem is linguistic not operational (e.g. Nginx or Unix?). Ultimate Member works for everybody. You are just not setting it up correctly.

Is the same thing, borisv, you understood me.
I meaned that my site is running in Nginx, not apache.
And I also suposed that UM works for everybody, thats why I’m here asking for help.

    Hi @mauroleon,

Can you please do a conflict test on the theme first and then plugins and see if it is caused by a conflict. You can click the link for directions on the plugin/theme conflict test:

    https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/96-how-to-do-a-plugin-theme-conflict-test

    Thanks.

Yes, I’ve done that, but same thing.
When I set “user” as my default page in wordpress, I get error 404 when try to access the site.
Also, Im unable to view the page “user” from links options inside wordpress when I set it as default page. Same error.

I also suposed that UM works for everybody, thats why I’m here asking for help.

It works for everybody MAINLY because it works with the LAMP stack. You are running Nginx and is not a completely interchangeable substitute for Apache!

So, the problem(s) you are experiencing may well be the result of using that web server, especially if related to permalinks.
