trouble with weight based shipping plugin

    Hi Dan,

    I’ve also had this problem where the weight based shipping plugin deactivated itself. When I reactivated the plugin and then click import legacy the plugin still didn’t work. I go to the weight based shipping option and its blank with no methods or rules. I click add new rule and it still is blank. How do I fix this issue? Right now I cannot take in payments because this shipping plugin isn’t working.

    Hi Dan,
    I got the weight based shipping to work and show up on the cart page but for some reason I’m seeing to weight based shipping options on the cart page and I don’t know why. When I got to the weight based shipping option page in the woocommerce settings it shows I have one rule. I have sent a screenshot through the contacts page.

    That was two weight based shipping options showing up on the cart page when I only have one rule in the weight based shipping settings.

    Hi Jason,

    Two shipping options means you have at least two shipping rules since one rule can’t produce more than one shipping option. Double check your shipping options, including shipping zones. Maybe you have Weight Based Shipping method added under some shipping zone along with the instance out of shipping zones.

    If that is not the case, try disabling other plugins to check if there is one causing the issue.

    Hi Dan,

    I only have one rule in place in the weight based shipping options so this isn’t the case. I have also tried disabling plugins and that doesn’t work. Do you have nay other suggestions? Thanks!

    Hi Jason,

    Please double check your shipping options. You have another Weight Based Shipping under Shipping Zones -> Rest of the World.

    Hi Dan,
    I deleted every shipping option and I only have the rest of the world shipping option set to weight based and it still is showing two options in the cart. I cannot figure this out. I only have one rule set but it shows two in the cart. Can you help with this? Thanks!

    Jason,

    You have two Weight Based Shipping methods:
    1. WooCommerce shipping settings -> Shipping Zones -> Rest of the World -> Weight Based Shipping
    2. WooCommerce shipping settings -> Weight Based Shipping

    Disable one of them.
